Capcom Reveals Cartoon Lost Planet Spinoff, E.X. Troopers

Capcom announced E.X. Troopers, a cartoon-styled spin-off of its Lost Planet third-person shooting franchise for PlayStation 3 and Nintendo 3DS, this week.

E.X. Troopers

E.X. Troopers will occupy the same universe as the Lost Planet games, but it will drop the hard sci-fi look in favor of the comic book approach. Characters look hand-drawn rather than sculpted from polygons, and the action seen in the game’s first trailer is punctuated with on-screen Japanese onomatopoeia.
The main characters appear to be all new and rather young, according to the profiles on the game’s official site. Many of the Lost Planet robots and monsters, however, have made the jump to E.X. Troopers, as Japanese bloggers have found by comparing the trailer with images from previous games.

E.X. Troopers will be released in Japan sometime this year. It is produced by Shintaro Kojima, who worked on Capcom’s Monster Hunter series, according to a translation from this week’s Famitsu magazine.

Mario Kart 7

Mario Kart 7
Mario Kart has just been a non-stop fast & furious ride for Mario with his fantastic friends. Mario and his friends continued evolving in the Mairo Kart games and they’ve never lost their original appeal. With the high-octane and mushroom speed, it is at it again for the Nintendo 3DS, and truthfully it is worth almost every race.
Mario Kart 7
Mario Kart will race 32 tracks which are both new and from Mario Kart’s past. The overall game absolutely looks amazing with some new wrinkles into the game, as you’ve new racers and new courses too like racing in the new Music Park, where hopping on each note and insturment.
Mario Kart 7
- Throughout the race flying and driving underwater actually are a great addition. I have seen issues saying they don’t add much and controls the same. This is false they can be great for strategy during the race.
- Online Definitely best new feature worth the price of admission. These races are in reality challenging!
- Personalization having the ability to unlock parts for the karts this will keep you coming back. You’ll race online and see a part you desire then it’s on to get it.

Mario Kart 7

The graphics look impressive. The control is strong also, in the classic mode, but there is one small hiccup with the new first person perspective. While the concept is good, in that mode you are able to race with other people using the gyro sensor from the 3DS and steer your kart by swaying your racer back and forth. The sound is strong as well, by bringing in the classic scores and musical elements of the distinctive classic courses, but overall it is the gameplay that is fun in both single play and particularly multiplayer too. The multiplayer adds extras with the Streetpass, and online gameplay like Mario Kart Wii showed, as you and 7 other racers try to race your way to the finish line.
Mario Kart 7
Overall, despite one small flaw, Mario Kart 7 is undoubtedly a fast and furious game from beginning to end, and it still is just like great for many gamers more than you would think. Should you have enjoyed the pursuit that Mario Kart has taken before than you will love this Nintendo 3DS game. I definitely love this thrilling racer and it shows that some game franchises haven’t gotten old, they just have gotten better with age. It is definitely a must buy for your Nintendo 3DS that is sure to be a treat that many racers haven’t been able to show for over 2 decades across the finish line. I absolutely recommend Mario Kart 7 from start to finish. Strongly Suggested for any age.

Advantages:
Mario Kart 7 is by far the best looking game the 3DS has at this point. There’s a lot of detail put into it and it just looks smooth. The 3D also works out rather well. There is a lot more variety in the form of kart options.
Disadvantages:
The only thing that really keeps Mario Kart 7 down is that it really isn’t any different from the previous Mario Kart. Things have been slightly reworked and tweaked but there isn’t much offered here that other Mario Kart games aren’t already going to provide for you.

Gon Baku Baku Baku Baku Adventure

Namco Bandai’s 3DS adaptation of the Gon franchise is a side scrolling action game with 2 types of stages.
In the “adventure stages,” you control Gon inside a look for food, ensuring to keep Gon’s tummy full on the way. To eat Super Fruits, you could put Gon into Powerful Mode, where he’ll knocks his enemies away by just touching them.
Adventure stages have parts which will make use of the system’s gyro controls, shown here with Gon ramming a tree to create a bridge.

In the “survival stages,” you face off against big rivals in boss fights from stages with gimmicks like quick sand as well as avalanches. Clear these fights, and Gon learn additional skills. By retrying older stages with Gon’s new skills, maybe you can make new discoveries?
